1Malaysia is intended to provide a free and open forum to discuss the things that matter deeply to us as a Nation. It provides a chance to express and explore the many perspectives of our fellow citizens. What makes Malaysia unique is the diversity of our peoples. 1Malaysia’s goal is to preserve and enhance this unity in diversity which has always been our strength and remains our best hope for the future.
I agree with the statement of “Counselors are the key to the success of the 1 Malaysia concepts”. It is because counselors are the person who well-known and practiced to know about other cultures other than their own culture. From the culture they can give trust and convinced people that they know about their cultures. People will appreciate someone from other culture know their culture well. From here, counselor can reduce the gaps that occur among the races in Malaysia. As a multicultural country, counselors are the key to maintain the peacefulness of our country.
What counselors can do is to understand properly the meaning of 1 Malaysia concept. He must make others to understand it also so that they can easily design together activities based on 1 Malaysia concept. It is to maintain the good relationship among the society in Malaysia. Before they plan any activity, the most important thing is to set the goals. It is as a guide to the counselors and others.
However, some people cannot accept that counselor is the key success of 1 Malaysia concept because they don’t have trust the counselor. This is challenge that counselors have to face. But as an expertise, counselor knows how to handle this problem even though it has to take long time. What is the most important thing the cooperation among the people who trust the counselor.
For the conclusion, counselors as the key to the success of the 1Malaysia concept, he/she must fully understand the meaning of 1 Malaysia concept. Besides that, he has to work hard to implement what he and others has planned to improve the relationship and reduce the gaps that occur in school and society in Malaysia.
