Violence in the school is a result of differences outside school. We as counselor cant’do anything about it. Disscus. By :king_smile(“,)

There is many type of violence in school nowadays. As a consequent of that, it leads to a lot of disciplines problems in the school. One of the major courses of violence is because of the difference outside from school. The difference of outside mean that, the difference of the student community. At school, student came from different religion, cultural, socio economic status, and races. All the differences are lead to the disciplines problems in the school if we can’t handle this situation in a good and manner ways.

Each of the Student may said that their believe or cultural is the best one. Without thinking the other’s side of the other student. If this happened, than it is lead to violence at the school. For just about every teacher, there comes a time when a student is going to challenge authority. Some students challenge authority because they are genuinely unhappy with the world and they seem naturally drawn to be aggressive with authority figures. Other students are simply looking for some entertainment, and they will be disrespectful to see how far they can "push" the teacher. Regardless of the motivation, the counselor must be ready to deal with a variety of student behavior.

When a teacher deals with a disrespectful student, they should remain calm and controlled. They should not get into a yelling match with the student or attempt to gain the upper hand by raising their voice. There may be times where a raised voice is appropriate, but sometimes the quiet teacher is more intimidating to students. The teacher should calmly explain to the student that their behavior is unacceptable and that it will not be tolerated. If the student continues to be disrespectful, the teacher may need to take further steps of counseling session and also discipline.

There are times when a teacher or counselor has to bring in a higher power, such as an assistant principal or a principal. This isn't to suggest that the counselor cannot handle their own client situations, but sometimes the presence of a higher authority conveys to the student that the counselor is serious about their behavioral expectations.
As a counsellor, we have to take this problem as a serious problem. If we not handling this problem, student may think that ‘it is alright to do or make violence at school’. We have to be creative and innovative in order to settle these situations. As a trained counsellor, we have to know that we are the bridge of student and school administration, the bridge between student and parent and between student and the teacher. We have to being responsible of what are going happens in our school.
If I facing the violence problem, I think I’m going to make a lot of programme, so that student will really understand, each student is unique and special on their own way. So, everybody will appreciate the others.

As I mention earlier, when all the student love and respect each other, the violence problems will
never occurred. Every one respect the various type of different at the school surrounding. They will try to help each other if their friend facing a problem.

I just want all of us to open our eyes, open our heart, and open our mind to discover the unique of culture from all over the world. When we know and study the different culture, we are going to find something new and interesting in the various cultures.
Thank you.
