Counselor as the key to the success of 1 Malaysia concept



1 Malaysia is a new concept that has been introduce by the former prime minister of Malaysia that purposely to unite all Malaysian regardless of the races. This is a great effort because it will build such a national strength in all people of Malaysia. They will unite in the concept 1 Malaysia. Everyone has to give their co operation in making the effort successful. It is mean that all Malaysia should work together in order to achieve the a great unity among the people.


The society, the community, the older, the eldest, teachers, doctors, government servant, students and everyone have to play their part. One of the main institution that can nurture the people about the important of this 1 Malaysia concept is obviously school. This is because school is an institution that educate people. So, the people is giving much attention for it. At the very first stage, school student should be expose to this concept. 1 Malaysia can be nurture at school. Teachers and students should aware that this concept is really meaningful.

School administrators should be concern about this matter. They should organize the school in proper way so that, the students will unite and feel the equal rights that they should receive as a Malaysian. Activities should be carried out by considering the concept also. Same goes to the counselor. A counselor seems to be a very important person that can make this concept successful. Many program can be implement to give awareness to school community about how important as a Malaysian to interpret the meaning of unity and 1 Malaysia concept. Counselor also can be a key of successful 1 Malaysia. She can give a talk and even make a campaign. Then, counselor also can have a simple talk with the colleagues to instill the feel of being 1 Malaysia so that they will treated all the students equally without discriminate any races. Counselor also can talk about the vision and mission of this concept to give a clear gist of 1 Malaysia to the school community. As a counselor also, she have to play part of the non judgmental ethics that she have to follow. So, it is her responsibility to ensure that all the teachers is acquiring the same ethics in making 1 Malaysia successful.


Then, it is a noble prize to a counselor if she could really be a key of successful 1 Malaysia. A great hard work will resulted in a great outcome. She have to belief that, an honest effort will gain a marvelous reward from God.
