Counselors can be the key of success for this multicultural unity concept since counselor are the need of society as mechanism to change.Counselor roles are really depth into making prevention and remedial in social circumstances.Thus, the well functioning counselor can open the door of antiracial and free them as their ups and downs are for the sake of changing and correcting knotty mind and ill behaviours.
Another strong reason is counselors are the most knowledgeable person about human psychology plus ethics in percepting others. They learn non-judgmental element, emphaty, unconditional positive regards and how to accept people in efforts to empower them at the same time.Should be, the real counselors are the closest profession to human nature instead of psychologist. They could not escape themselves from understanding why behave in certain ways and how human operating themselves. Yet, true Muslim Counselor will be having a clear worldview and less grief of unsolved question in this world.
Different medium said counselors are not the key success is because they are not the authority to change societal norms. They do not have the miracle of doctrination sinces their position is seen not as the respectful power to gain loyalty or obedience. They have just seen as social workers but neither reinforcer nor icon. So, how counselors can be effectively persuading society to be lucid in standing up for the truth that obscured by the vetos?
Another reason lies under this point is believing that not merely counselors can perfectly apprehend human activity. It is reasonable to say they don’t know everything.How many counselors are doing good in their workplace? If they are really the closest to human nature, have the ability to understand more, why does clients still do not fully trust counselors?Why people refrain themselves from seeking counselor’s help in current situation?Are counselors really in human nature and excluded from cultural issues?
In my opinion, counselors are capable of being key success of 1 Malaysia concept because of the legal role and validity of their knowledge in this issue. No one will keen to really work out the role of advocacy, as social agents, outreaching, consultant and liason in society.Social volunteer now is rare like diamond. The best is counselor has the written responsibilty as well as their great conciousness to enrich society as they choose this professsion. Meaning that the drive behind counselors is responsibility and accountability.They have the clear mental picture in their journey as counselor as compared to whom are not.If one strives for the effort, love, virtue and wisdom…nothing can stop them to pursue it.And one day, after they gone…people will realize what actually they want to convey to people before….Bi iznillah…..
